Hey, I’m Karl

I’ve been DJing for over 20 years, playing in nightclubs, bars, weddings and events both in the UK and internationally but my journey has been a humble one.

When I think back to when I was at school I was the kid that got picked last at sports and was pretty quiet and shy BUT I was obsessed with music. I spent all my pocket money on collecting vinyl and CDs and put the music I bought together in my bedroom.

This was way before I ever had decks.

My first gig?

• At 13 years old - DJing a neighbour’s birthday party with just a hifi.

• By 14 - I got asked to play my first wedding.

• At 18 - I nervously emailed clubs constantly until I landed my first warm‑up set.

• After a few months doing the warm up I was offered my a Friday night residency and that’s when things really started to accelerate.

Still to this day I DJ week in week out and over the years have played to hundreds of thousands of people. I have even been lucky enough to open for big headline DJ’s including Chase & Status, Joel Corry, James Hype and many others.

I can hand on heart say that DJing has CHANGED MY LIFE but it's been a long road to get to where I am today, figuring everything out by myself. I set up DJ resources to give aspiring DJ’s a clear structure and path to learn how to DJ.

Once you know the ‘how’ which I can teach you it’s just a case of improving over time, and gaining the confidence to put yourself out there. The only thing you need to invest is a desire to succeed.
