Hey, I’m Karl

I’ve been DJ’ing for over 20 years, playing in nightclubs, bars, weddings and events both in the UK and internationally but my journey has been a humble one.

When I think back to when I was at school I was the kid that got picked last at sports and was pretty quiet and shy BUT I was obsessed with music. I spent all my pocket money on collecting vinyl and CDs and put the music I bought together in my bedroom.

This was way before I ever had decks.

My first gig?

  • At 13 years old - DJing a neighbour’s birthday party with just a hifi.

  • By 14 - I got asked to play my first wedding.

  • At 18 - I nervously emailed clubs constantly until I landed my first warm‑up set.

  • After a few months doing the warm up I was offered my a Friday night residency and that’s when things really started to accelerate.

This course isn’t theory.
